A personalized bedtime story your child can help shape

DreamTide Kids lets a parent shape a new bedtime story with a few choices: a hero, a setting, a length, and an optional lesson. A free account can try one personalized discovery story; later story creation requires Premium.
Start with a few simple choices
Open Kids in DreamTide and start a new story. Choose a hero and a story world, then pick a length. You can also choose an optional lesson and include siblings when that fits your family. DreamTide drafts a story from those selections, and the finished pages are ready to read.
You do not need to write a prompt or invent a plot from scratch. If your child wants to help, offer two heroes or settings to choose from. If they are already tired, a parent can make the choices and save the discussion for another time.
Try one story with a free account
A free DreamTide account can create one personalized Kids discovery story. Later story creation is part of DreamTide Premium. The app checks the account's current allowance before the final create step and explains when more stories require Premium.
That gives you a chance to see how the story flow works before deciding whether you want to make more. The story is one option for your evening, without a promise that bedtime will suddenly become easy or follow a particular schedule.
A clear boundary around a child's name
DreamTide's Kids & privacy information says the AI story service receives non-identifying choices such as the selected hero, setting, lesson, length, and number of participants. A child's profile name is added to neutral story placeholders on the device and is not sent to that AI service. Child profiles are not used for advertising or third-party analytics.
Read the full DreamTide Privacy Policy. A parent can also review the in-app Kids & privacy screen and manage or remove child profiles from the app.
Keep the story inside your family's routine
Personalization is a starting point, not a bedtime rule. Read together, let your child listen, or return to a saved story when it fits your evening. If a story feels too exciting, choose a quieter theme or shorter length next time. And if your family already has a favorite book, there is no reason to replace it.

Common questions
How many personalized Kids stories can a free account make?
A free DreamTide account can try one personalized discovery story. Later story creation requires Premium. The app checks the account's current story allowance before creating another story.
Does DreamTide send my child's name to its AI story service?
No. DreamTide's Kids & privacy information says the story service receives non-identifying choices, while the child's name is added on the device. Read the Privacy Policy for the full data practices.
Do I need to write the story myself?
No. Choose a hero, setting, length, and optional lesson in the app. DreamTide drafts the story from those choices, and you can read it together.
Will a personalized story make bedtime easier?
There is no guarantee that one story will change a child's bedtime. It is one option to try alongside the routines that already work for your family.
